About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Associate to join our marketing team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who is passionate about social media and digital marketing, and who is eager to learn and grow within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Social Media Accounts: Oversee the day-to-day management of all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Content Creation: Develop engaging content, including graphics, photos, and videos, tailored for each platform. Ensure that all content aligns with brand guidelines and company messaging.
Community Engagement: Monitor social media channels for customer inquiries, comments, and messages. Respond promptly and professionally to foster positive community interaction.
Analytics and Reporting: Track social media performance using analytics tools. Provide regular reports on key metrics, such as engagement rates, follower growth, and campaign success, and suggest improvements.
Content Planning: Creating editorial calendars and scheduling posts to ensure consistent content delivery across platforms.
Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on the latest social media trends and apply them to the brand's strategy to increase engagement and reach.
Qualifications:
Associate / Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Basic knowledge of major social media platforms and their best practices.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage a content calendar and create content for that calendar
Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics).
Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects or Canva) is a plus.
Creative mindset with an eye for design and detail.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Approx $18-$20 per hour
